Hails from America's Heartland, being raised in the Chicago suburb of Waukegan, Illinois prior coming to the City Beautiful in 1998 and has been heard on Orlando's air-waves ever since 2003 on both sides of the AM and FM dial.
I grew up listening to Chicago's Oldies station WJMK during the day and Christian station WMBI at night. That's what my folk's listened to and that was an influence. When I was in college I got my start as a jock at the campus radio station, WCLC. From there our Lord has blessed me to have a radio career which has now taken me to both WTLN as well as WLOQ for a 2 year tour of duty as the part time night jock during the weekends, so if you happen to be an insomniac on a Saturday night and were into Smooth Jazz music, chances are you probably heard me over the air back then.
In case you're curious, 2 of my big hobbies are Basketball (I've actually played on a team back in 6th and 7th grade,been a fan ever since) and my Xbox 360. Oh yeah, and 2 of my favorite bible verses are Galatians 3:28 as well as Luke 20:34-36. Well, as it's been said, God has blessed me in many ways and our Lord is indeed Good all the time!

Jim is a full time truck driver for one of the leading companies in Florida. He has faithfully worked the Saturday and Sunday shifts at WTLN, WORL and WBZW for about 10 years. His skill and ability to work well with clients doing weekend shows has been commented on many times. He has a First Class Radio Operator’s License.
Debrah Hayden

Debrah grew up in Florida and graduated from Apopka High School. She has 3 children ages 24 yrs, 20 yrs, and her baby girl is 16. She has been married to Isaac Hayden, for 5 yrs and resides in Plymouth.
Debrah joined Moffit media in 2002, as the receptionist. She enjoys her job and has become a student of the radio business and has grown in her understanding which makes her an asset for Salem Communications. Her day is complete when she looks back to recount something new she has learned. She changed positions since Salem Communications purchased the company. She trained for Traffic then filled in for 3 weeks to relieve Amanda while she was on her honeymoon. Now, she is her assistant and loves it! Her husband is a Comptroller for Growers Supply Service and he is also the Pastor of First Baptist Church of Zellwood. Her responsibilities as Youth Director, leaves her little time for anything else but she wouldn’t have it any other way.

Lou was born and raised on the Ohio River in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. His first job was at WJEH in Gallipolis, Ohio in 1960 during high school as part time announcer and board op. Graduated in 1962 and attended Marshall University. He continued to work in radio during his college years and after. Worked as announcer, morning drive DJ, music director and program director in Huntington, West Virginia through 1975.
Earning his FCC First Class License in 1975, Lou started his career as an engineering assistant at the same West Virginia facility. Lou was hired as a Chief Engineer in 1979. From 1995 to present he has been employed in various capacities of broadcast engineering in Charlotte and Raleigh, North Carolina and Orlando. He was certified through the Society of Broadcast Engineers as AM Directional Specialist and Professional Broadcast Engineer. FAA Licensed Pilot / Commercial Airplane / Instrument / Multiengine. Married with 5 children and 3 grandchildren.

Bill brings more than 15 years of market management and sales experience to Salem. Prior to joining Salem, he was the Senior Sales Consultant for SALES-FAX NEWS. Before that, he was Vice President, General Manager and General Sales Manager at WSTO-FM and WKDQ-FM in Evansville, Indiana as well as General Manager of other stations across the Midwest and Eastern part of the United States. He also founded Target Positioning, a sales training and consulting firm for radio stations.
Bruce Cherry

Bruce hails from the Commonwealth of Kentucky but has called Florida home for the past 20 years. Having been a radio broadcast professional for over 30 years. Bruce started his career at the young age of 15 as one of his hometown’s (Louisville) youngest air personalities. Bruce attended college at the University of Louisville and studied Mass Communications. During Bruce’s 30 plus years in radio he has seen success as an on-air personality, Program Director, Operations Manager and for the past few years as a successful Account Executive.
Why the move to A.E. after years of being on the air? “Simple…Family. Bruce has been married for 14 years and a father of two boys who are both Boy Scouts. “Being a successful talent and program director or operations manager requires someone who lives the job. Someone who can spend 10-12 hours a day, six or seven days a week, making the station sound it’s best. One night my youngest son said to me,” “Dad, when are you going to make some time for us?” “That stung. So at that point I knew the next logical step was for me to put my many years of radio experience to work in a different area, advertising.” Bruce is also active in Scouting as adult leader. “It is truly a gift to be involved with a great tradition like the Boy Scouts and to see not just my sons but their peers as well, growing into fine young men.”

Jim has gone around the sun more times that most humans and is a native of Syracuse, New York, with an education in Engineering, who began his sales career in Miami in 1974 with Southern Bell Yellow Pages. From Sales Rep to corporate Vice President to Mortgage wholesaler, his career spans 4 decades. Jim comes to Salem Communications with the enthusiasm of starting a third career in radio and uses his experience to provide clients with a level of personal attention that enables them him to foster long-time relationships. Patrice Phillips

Patrice Phillips is originally from from New York City but calls Apopka, Florida home since 2009. Patrice is married to Terence Phillips and has 3 children, Gabrielle, Kenneth and Christopher.
Patrice joined Salem Communications in 2011 after running her own business 'Phillips Eventz'. She currently volunteers with several non-profits and is especially proud of her work with Lift Disability Network a non-profit working to elevate life in the disability Community and Habitat for Humanity Orlando Woman Build Week for the last two years.
When not working full time Patrice volunteers and raises money for local causes.
